In addition to recreating valuable details about our army in the battle to protect Quang Tri Citadel in 1972 through the film “Red Rain”, the artists participated in conveying the story of history and peace through many cultural and artistic activities. The students also listened to Colonel Nguyen Trong Vinh share the memories, sacrifices, and brave battles that he and his comrades experienced in the heroic historical years of 1972. Especially when he mentioned the comrades who fell but whose families could not find them.

“I still remember the names of each of my fallen comrades and always remember them. Until today, I still think about the fact that our families only knew that they were martyrs but could not find them. That is something that haunts us,” Mr. Vinh said, saying something that always pains him even though he is 93 years old this year.

“Because I myself was once a student and I really hope to have the opportunity to interact and interact with artists to learn, have information and lessons from specific professions. I hope that the policy of bringing artisans, artists and athletes to participate in educational activities in schools will be widely developed across the country. From there, students can learn, interact with artists and gain experiences, be inspired and find things that they love and can develop very early while still in school.”

“This is a form of teaching that “unleashes” creativity. For students, this way of learning brings excitement, interest, and reduces pressure. We believe that experiences and real-life stories will help them remember longer, while also inspiring the spirit of self-discovery and exploration,” Ms. Thuy said.

According to Ms. Thuy, this activity of the school is also a pioneer in implementing the guidance of the Ministry of Education and Training on inviting experts, artisans, artists, coaches, and athletes to participate in educational activities in general schools.
