This is the fourth State visit of Comrade Xi Jinping to Vietnam in his capacity as General Secretary and President of China, and the second visit during the 13th National Congress of our Party and the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. The visit took place less than a year after the very successful State visit to China by General Secretary To Lam. The visit is even more meaningful as it was conducted during the Vietnam-China Humanitarian Exchange Year, commemorating the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries (1950-2025).
