This week, Apple began selling refurbished iPhone 15 models in Europe, cutting prices for the first time since their 2023 launch.
Refurbished iPhone 15 models are now available in France, Germany, Italy, and Spain at a 15% discount compared to equivalent brand new versions.
Currently, only 128GB and 256GB versions are available, but more versions are expected to come in the near future.
The iPhone 15 Plus is also expected to be available in the coming days, along with the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max (discontinued), as these models are currently listed in the sidebar of the local refurbished store but are still blurred out.
Refurbished iPhones from Apple are unlocked and compatible with all carriers. Each refurbished iPhone comes with a new battery, new casing, and USB-C cable, making them nearly indistinguishable from a brand new device.
Refurbished iPhones also come with Apple's standard one-year warranty. Buyers can also choose to extend their warranty with AppleCare+.
With the launch of the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max in September 2024, Apple has discontinued the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. However, Apple continues to sell the new iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus models on its online store.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 17 models expected to be announced in September 2025 include: iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max and the ultra-thin iPhone 17 Air.
Apple is expected to have many breakthrough upgrades, not only in design but also in technology and new features, especially with the iPhone 17 Pro models.
