In its financial report earlier this year, Apple said that Vietnam is one of its largest manufacturing bases. CEO Tim Cook announced that all products, except the iPhone, will be assembled in the country. Along with this announcement, the company is starting to recruit massively for many positions directly serving the company.

Currently, Apple is opening 61 positions in Vietnam. The earliest application was opened in October 2024 and is still in need of workers. Of the more than 60 positions, most of the needs are in the Northern region, working at the Hanoi branch, serving production. These positions are mainly related to iPad, AirPods, Apple Watch assembly, supply chain management, product quality inspection, and technology research.

Meanwhile, some positions in Ho Chi Minh City are in the fields of advertising, sales, and chain development. Two positions that Apple has announced that are receiving a lot of attention are Product Advertising Manager and Communications Manager in Vietnam.

It should be noted that the 61 job postings announced by the company are job titles, not numbers. Apple may need more than one person for these positions. This is also a record number for Apple in Vietnam. Previously, for a long time, the company recruited little by little, with a maximum of only about 20 positions at a time.

Apple also recruits in neighboring countries such as Malaysia, Thailand or Indonesia, but the number is limited, under 10 positions. Singapore is the country with the most open jobs, with more than 100. This is understandable because Apple's regional management department is located in Singapore, so it will need a lot of manpower to operate.

In addition to its direct presence, Apple said it has indirectly invested more than 15.8 billion USD ( 400,000 billion VND ) in Vietnam through its manufacturing partners. Currently, many assembly units such as Foxconn, Luxshare, and GoerTek have factories in the northern provinces, producing many Apple hardware devices.

These units also continuously recruit workers, engineers, and operators to serve production.
