Since Toby Emmerich left Warner Bros., Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom has been nearing completion, having had its first test screening earlier this summer. Prior to that, the film had been screened multiple times and was constantly being reviewed for its final version.
The Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom project cost up to 250 million USD, partly due to the impact of the pandemic because the film was filmed throughout the pandemic.
