The Gunners agreed to pay Sporting £54.9m upfront, plus £8.6m in add-ons. Agent Viktor Gyokeres also gave up a £1.7m commission to help push through the deal.
The Swedish striker has finally fulfilled his wish to join the Emirates Stadium team, preparing to sign a 5-year contract.

Gyokeres will become Arsenal's fourth new signing in the summer transfer window of 2025, after goalkeeper Kepa, along with midfielder duo Christian Norgaard and Martin Zubimendi.
The London club has also just approved a £52 million deal to buy winger Noni Madueke (Chelsea).
Arsenal were without a natural striker for much of last season, as they finished second in the table, 10 points behind champions Liverpool.
Sporting Lisbon initially demanded an upfront fee of £60.4m, plus £8.6m in add-ons, but Gyokeres refused to return to pre-season training to pressure a transfer.
The Swedish striker moved to Sporting in 2023 from Coventry and has gone on to become one of Europe's top strikers.
Last season, Viktor Gyokeres scored 54 goals in 52 appearances, including an impressive hat-trick against Man City in the Champions League.
