Lavender fields in Hokkaido (Japan), Provence (France) or Mayfield (England) are known as the "holy lands" of lavender, attracting tourists from many places to visit.

This summer flower attracts tourists with its dominant purple color, growing in fields and carrying a characteristic light scent. In addition, lavender has long been a flower symbolizing faithful and steadfast love.

From July to late August every year, Hokkaido Island in the Furano region is covered in purple lavender. As the second largest island in Japan, Hokkaido attracts thousands of tourists every year to admire the beauty of lavender fields that dye the horizon purple.

Considered the most prominent in Hokkaido is Farm Tomita. Here, lavender is planted in many rows in a rainbow shape running straight to the foot of the Tokachi volcano. In addition, this farm also has small cafes hidden among the vast flower fields. After capturing beautiful moments with family and friends, visitors can visit the essential oil extraction process, enjoy cool lavender ice cream and watch the petals blooming.

Known as the "purple paradise", Provence attracts thousands of tourists every summer, from mid-June to July. You can choose a famous place in this city such as Luberon, Gordes, Valensole... to visit and admire the beauty of this flower with your own eyes.

About an hour’s drive from Aix-en-Provence, dozens of lavender fields stretching across the hills of the Valensole plateau are what tourists look forward to admiring the most. You can also follow the wagons carrying freshly cut lavender to the workshops that produce products from this purple flower. There, gifts that preserve the scent and color of lavender are on sale for tourists to buy as souvenirs or gifts.

Besides Japan and France, England is also a country with many lavender gardens that attract thousands of visitors every July. In particular, Mayfield is the largest lavender garden in England, divided into 3 main areas: flower growing, warehouse and souvenir selling, each with its own unique beauty. The field has an area of over 100,000 m2, and began growing lavender in the 18th-19th centuries.

Although not as well known as the lavender fields in Provence, Mayfield is still a favorite destination for many tourists to the "foggy land".
