The whole province strives to have about 48,748 hectares of concentrated rice growing land by 2030, maintaining stability and developing a pig herd ranging from 1 to 1.2 million with an estimated meat output of 180 thousand tons, 55 thousand hectares of high-quality fruit trees meeting VietGAP and GlobalGAP standards with the centers being the districts: Luc Ngan, Luc Nam, Tan Yen, Yen The, Son Dong, Hiep Hoa...
The construction of concentrated agricultural production areas creates a basis for localities to strengthen land management and orient the planning of agricultural processing facilities. From there, it helps localities build investment roadmaps, mechanisms and policies to attract businesses and cooperatives to participate in production. At the same time, gradually create product lines and link value chains in agricultural production; continue to identify key agricultural products, characteristics and potential of localities in the province.
In order to develop large-scale concentrated commodity production areas, in the coming time, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development will continue to advise the Provincial People's Committee on effective solutions to implement the "Digital map of concentrated production areas, specializing in key and typical agricultural products; high-tech agricultural production areas in Bac Giang province" in accordance with the Bac Giang Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050.
Focus on directing localities to improve products according to standards, technical regulations, packaging, labels associated with traceability, local brands and product trademarks. Strengthen the application of digital technology in product management and trade to gradually promote the province's OCOP brand in the domestic market and towards export, striving to make Bac Giang a national agricultural center, leading the North by 2030./.
