Bac Lieu: Boy slipped and fell into canal and died

On the morning of May 28, according to information from the People's Committee of Hoa Binh town (Hoa Binh district, Bac Lieu province), the authorities found the body of a boy who drowned and went missing on the Bac Lieu - Ca Mau canal. The victim was H. (11 years old, residing in Vinh My A commune, Hoa Binh district).

Before that, at around 10:00 a.m. on May 27, H. was playing with friends near the bank of the Bac Lieu - Ca Mau canal.

While playing, H. unfortunately slipped and fell into the canal and was swept away and disappeared.

After the incident, local authorities and functional forces actively searched for H. but were unable to find her. It was not until 9:30 a.m. on May 28 that H.'s body was found.

H.'s family is in difficult circumstances. After the accident, the local authorities promptly visited, encouraged, and mobilized resources to help the family bury H. according to local customs.
