Bac Lieu will pay February salary before Lunar New Year

(Dan Tri) - Bac Lieu province will pay February salaries to officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers before the Lunar New Year 2025.


On January 5, the leader of the Department of Finance of Bac Lieu province said that the People's Committee of this province has agreed to the policy of paying February salary to cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers (collectively referred to as cadres) before the Lunar New Year 2025, after the department submitted a report on January 3.

According to the Department of Finance, this is to create an exciting atmosphere for the New Year for officials in the province; at the same time, to ensure work progress for agencies and units, avoiding overload in the days after Tet.

"The province has balanced its resources to ensure salary payments for officials. The Provincial People's Committee has agreed on the policy and assigned the department and treasury to coordinate implementation. The department will send documents to agencies and units for implementation," said the leader of the Department of Finance.

Speaking with Dan Tri reporter, the leader of Bac Lieu province's Department of Finance added that paying salaries before Tet is not mandatory but depends on the needs of each agency and unit.

According to the reporter's investigation, the staff of Bac Lieu province is more than 1,580 people. Officials receive their salaries from the state before the 10th of each month.

Lunar New Year holiday 2025 from January 25 to February 2 (December 26 to January 5).
