More than 100 tons of rice have arrived in Dak Lak, Gia Lai , Lam Dong

After the storm, Dak Lak, Gia Lai and Lam Dong provinces suffered heavy losses in terms of human lives, housing, transport infrastructure, electricity and agriculture , with property losses estimated at thousands of billions of VND. Many transport works were severely damaged, landslides and traffic jams occurred. However, long lines of relief convoys continued to carry shipments of humanitarian relief goods. More than ever, it was the practical and timely assistance, along with the spread of solidarity and sharing, that created a "solid wall" to help people confidently recover from the devastation caused by storms and floods.

The working group of BAF Vietnam Company directly went to the flood-hit areas, coordinated with the Department of Agriculture and Environment, and the local police to directly go to the flood-hit areas to hand over each bag of Aan clean rice to the people. A total of more than 100 tons of rice were given away. In addition, 10 tons of Aan clean rice were also sent by BAF to the people living around BAF's livestock farms - where many households have been isolated for many days, making it difficult to access relief teams, leading to an extremely urgent need for food.

At the gift-giving points, people were moved to share that rice was the gift they needed most at the moment, helping to ensure meals during difficult days. Local representatives also expressed their thanks to BAF and A An for providing timely and appropriate support, helping to reduce pressure on on-site relief work.

Previously, more than 130 tons of Aan rice and 2,100 boxes of 3T instant sausages (made from BAF Meat clean pork) were also sent by BAF to thousands of households affected by storm No. 10-11 in Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh, Quang Ninh, Hanoi , Thanh Hoa, Nghe An and Ha Tinh; with a total value of support in 2 batches of more than 4 billion VND.

Spread the love to the BAF people

Storms have continuously swept through many localities from the North - Central, Central Highlands. There are many families of employees who are directly working and contributing to the development of the company. Therefore, immediately after updating the actual situation in the localities, BAF Company has urgently deployed cash support packages to send to the families of company employees who are suffering from storms and floods. In addition, BAF staff nationwide also built a common fund, contributing together to support their colleagues.

All funds from internal fundraising programs and relief packages from the Company's Board of Directors were sent directly to the employees' families.

Over the years, BAF Vietnam has always been present in social activities, from supporting people in natural disaster areas, awarding scholarships to students, to accompanying social security programs in the localities where the company operates. This relief effort once again demonstrates the consistency in BAF's development philosophy, which is to succeed through kindness and social service.

The natural disaster has left behind consequences that may take a long time to overcome. Houses, belongings, fields, and livestock are submerged in floodwaters. Each bag of rice, relief package, or money sent to people in a timely manner right now from government agencies, volunteer groups, and businesses will help people get through these difficult days. But above all, it is the heart, the sharing, and the spirit of solidarity that will give people more strength to rebuild their lives. After the rainy days, the sun will shine. After the devastation of storms and floods, new houses and new constructions will be built. And after the worries and confusion during the days of struggling to cope with harsh natural disasters, faith will be stronger, love will be spread more widely so that "no one is left behind".
