The bridge project across Tam Giang lagoon connecting Phu Da town to Vinh Xuan commune, approved by Hue City People's Committee in Decision No. 255/QD-UBND dated January 23, 2024, assigned to the Hue City Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board as the investor.

The project has a total length of about 3.05 km, starting at Km0 connecting to the end of Vo Phi Trang road (Phu Vang commune) and ending at Km3+053.32 intersecting with National Highway 49B at Km68+450 (in Phu Vinh commune). The bridge width is 15.5 m, with a load capacity of 300 kg/m2. The project is designed according to the same level traffic, has a traffic island, fully equipped with traffic lights, signs and lighting system with a total investment of over 1,023 billion VND, expected to start construction in early 2026, with an implementation period of 4 years.

The completed project will contribute to completing the main traffic network in the area according to the planning, improving traffic capacity, preventing congestion and reducing traffic volume, gradually completing the traffic network of Hue city, creating momentum for the development of new urban areas, satellite cities and contributing to the socio -economic development of Phu Vang commune and neighboring communes in the area.
