'Morning sunshine' - a symphony of life

Morning sun fragrant eyes written in the 1-2-3 poetic form initiated by poet Phan Hoang in 2018, and experimented with by many authors. The poems all have six lines, divided into three stanzas. The first line, which is also the first stanza, serves as the title of the work, the second stanza has two lines, the third stanza has three lines, each line has a maximum of 11 to 13 words. The 1-2-3 poetic form is not bound by the strict rules of rhetoric, harmony, rhythm or rhyme like traditional poetry. This makes the writer more comfortable in using language and presenting ideas.

The poet uses this form throughout the collection of poems. Specifically, in the poem My beloved homeland has the sweet taste of guava , she wrote:

"My beloved homeland has the sweet taste of guava

Flying over the Tra River with its vast waves and wind/ A flock of sacred birds carrying seeds to sow prosperity in the plains

"The dream of the salty alluvium of the delta/Bo village is grateful for the sweet fruits of life/Following the journey of distant children - spreading the legend".

At the book launch on March 23, poet Vu Tran Anh Thu said she carefully and lovingly writes for herself, giving readers a spiritual gift full of faith and hope.

The book of poems has 123 poems, divided into five parts: Morning link , The farther the moon is, the more I miss it . The sound of rain echoes in the distant subconscious , Is it possible to isolate emotions ? Missed a day because of suffocating love . The work has many themes, from nature, regional scenery to family affection, love between couples and thoughts and contemplations about life.

The poet describes the beauty of the places she has been to. She said she loves mountains and hills, loves long trips: from Hanoi "bright with flowers of the carefree season", the Huong River "carrying Hue folk songs" to Dai Yem Waterfall - "a symphony of the Northwest mountains and forests". Purple blooming pink Moc Chau plateau evokes the lyrical beauty of the mountains:

"Purple blooms on Moc Chau plateau

Embroidered velvet on the splendid spring hills/ Silk flowers of love are intoxicated on a new sunny day

No need to zoom, I'm still in ecstasy of the frame/ So innocent, how could I know/ I'm caught in a thousand waves, my eyes are filled with flowers"

Morning sun fragrant eyes Not only is it a picture of regional landscapes, but it also contains thoughts about life, people and time. The sound of rain echoes in the distant subconscious , the poet expresses family affection and gratitude to parents. Vu Tran Anh Thu depicts the image of a hard-working mother:

"Heavy on the shoulders of the years of mother's love

Mother carries her child's childhood/ The hill of straw and stubble in the countryside during harvest season, the lesson plans are fragrant

One day leaving the innocent eyes of the classroom/ Mother worked hard to sell and buy in the city/ Children grew up day by day, mother struggled to make a living for our family".

Critic Nguyen To said: "I feel in the collection of poems the connection with the origin, family affection. In the poem A green dawn for life , she mentioned the love of her two parents. That planted the seed of passion for poetry in the author's soul. The 'dawn' of her life is the love of her parents".

Vu Tran Anh Thu worries about her journey of pursuing literature in the article Insomnia verses . The poem uses a pair of six-eight meter:

"Insomnia Poems

Oh, am I asleep yet? / When the rain has stopped, when the words have already fallen asleep

Lullaby, the moon's scent lingers in the peaceful space/ Poetry verses stay awake all night calling each other to cross the waves/ Hands rowing tirelessly, the words are still far away.

Literary critic, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Duc Hanh commented that the work has many new elements: "Not only is it the light of dawn, the dawn in poetry is also a symbol of love for life. Images of trees, wind, and clouds become characters with souls, the poems are like small slices of life but contain many thoughts".

Vu Tran Anh Thu, 52 years old, was a literature major student, later she pursued a career in accounting and finance. She turned to literature as a way to balance her life: between work with dry numbers and the light, airy world of poetry.
