In 1941, leader Nguyen Ai Quoc returned to the country. He convened the 8th Central Conference in May 1941, in Pac Bo. The conference decided to establish the Vietnam Independence League (Viet Minh) to unite the nation in preparation for the General Uprising.
Throughout the glorious history of the Vietnam Fatherland Front with different forms and names, the period of the Viet Minh Front (Vietnam Independence League from 1941 - 1951) was a brilliant milestone with the peak being the uprising to seize power on August 19, leading to the establishment of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam on September 2, 1945.
Mr. Nguyen Viet Chuc - former Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee for Culture andEducation , in an interview with Dai Doan Ket Newspaper reporter, said that President Ho Chi Minh had foresight and prepared for the Viet Minh Front to play a decisive role in the victory of the August Revolution in 1945 in the context that the Party had only 5,000 members at that time. Joy in warm and loving homes
Charity houses formed from warm and meaningful sharing have brought joy to the poor in Bac Lieu province.
Like many poor households with housing difficulties in the area, Danh Thi Hong Loan's family in Kim Cau hamlet, Vinh Trach commune, Bac Lieu city always wished to have a solid and sustainable house. Loan and her husband moved out on their own and only had 2 hectares of farmland, and because they had many young children, she had to stay home to take care of them. Loan's husband was a freelancer, so the family's economy was still difficult. That dream has now become a reality when Loan's family was called upon by the Bac Lieu Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to receive donations from philanthropists, sponsors, and support units to help with part of the cost, and the government, organizations, and neighbors to help with labor to build a new house.
