PVI Insurance received 3 awards at Insurance Asia Awards 2025

Within the framework of the Insurance Asia Awards 2025 by Insurance Asia News Magazine (Hong Kong - China), PVI Insurance was honored in three categories for non-life insurance including "Best General Insurer", "Vietnam's Outstanding Claims Management" and "Best Digital Insurer of the Year". This year, businesses in the Vietnamese market were awarded 8 awards.

Insurance Asia Awards is the region's leading award, honoring insurance, reinsurance and insurance brokerage companies with outstanding achievements, positive contributions and shaping the future of the insurance industry in the Asia- Pacific market.

The jury of this year's award brings together many experts and senior leaders in the insurance - finance sector, from leading auditing corporations, strategic consulting firms in the region... to ensure that the evaluation process is carried out objectively, in-depth and selects the most deserving units.

PVI Insurance was honored in three important categories of the annual Insurance Asia Awards 2025.

The Best Insurance Company Award for PVI Insurance is the result of the company's outstanding business achievements in 2024. According to the report, PVI Insurance became the first non-life insurance company in Vietnam to surpass the revenue mark of VND 20,000 billion, an increase of more than 40% over the same period. In addition, pre-tax profit reached VND 766 billion, exceeding the set target, despite facing major fluctuations from natural disasters and unfavorable market conditions. The reinsurance segment achieved revenue of VND 5,885 billion, an increase of more than 113%.

In addition to business results, PVI Insurance was also awarded the Best Claim Management Enterprise award, demonstrating PVI Insurance's strong commitment to service quality in accompanying and supporting customers during the claim handling process.

During the Yagi storm in 2024, PVI Insurance responded flexibly, issuing specialized regulations for losses caused by Yagi storm, thereby shortening the compensation processing time by 30-40%, with some stages reducing by 80-90%, helping customers quickly restore and stabilize production and business. These improvements not only improve service quality but also demonstrate the social responsibility of the enterprise.

The Best Digital Insurance Enterprise Award evaluates the comprehensive digital transformation results and continuous innovation of PVI Insurance. Establishing PVI Digital in 2023 is a strategic step to help the enterprise effectively integrate artificial intelligence (AI) applications into the entire insurance process, from application issuance, loss assessment, customer care to compensation. Expanding multi-channel connections with e-commerce platforms, e-wallets, ride-hailing apps and banks has helped the enterprise reach millions of digital customers, making PVI Insurance one of the technology pioneers in the insurance industry in Vietnam and the region.

Not only was PVI Insurance successful at the Insurance Asia Awards 2025, it was also awarded the “Underwriting Initiative of the Year - Vietnam” by Insurance Asia magazine (Singapore). The award honors PVI Insurance’s breakthrough initiatives in building a diverse product portfolio, implementing new risk assessment methods, and applying technology and artificial intelligence (AI) to the underwriting and insurance application process.

Thanks to this initiative, PVI Insurance not only improves operational efficiency, minimizes financial risks, but also increases competitiveness in the international market, helping businesses adapt flexibly to market fluctuations and digital technology , affirming its role in innovation in the regional insurance industry.
