Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper carries out a series of programs in Quang Tri province
On March 18, Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper coordinated with the Provincial Party Committee, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province to organize programs including: "Proud of the National Flag" program, "Scholarship to support ethnic minority and poor students" program, "Heart of Central Vietnam" program to support and encourage soldiers and disadvantaged students in Quang Tri province.
The program "Proud of the National Flag" presented 25,000 national flags to fishermen, soldiers and people of Quang Tri province. Of which, 10,000 national flags from the component "Millions of flags with fishermen at sea" for fishermen; 10,000 national flags for soldiers and people in border areas from the component "Flags of the borderlands" and 5,000 national flags were presented to the Quang Tri Provincial Youth Union to carry out the project "Flag Road of the Fatherland" in the area.

On this occasion, the Editorial Board of Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper coordinated with the People's Committee of Quang Tri province to support 50 scholarships (VND 2 million/scholarship) from the program "Scholarship to support ethnic minority students and poor students" to poor students with difficult circumstances in Quang Tri province.
The program "Scholarship to support ethnic minority and poor students" was founded by Politburo member and former Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh and is being managed by Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper .
The Lao Dong Newspaper presented 42 million VND to the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor and 100 million VND to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri Province from the "Heart of Central Vietnam" program to share and encourage poor households and workers facing difficulties in the area.

Speaking at the program, Mr. To Dinh Tuan - Editor-in-Chief of Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper - said that up to now, the program "Proud of the National Flag" has presented Quang Tri province with a total of 39,000 national flags. Thus, Quang Tri is one of the provinces that has received the most flags from the program in the whole country.
" The Lao Dong Newspaper will continue to coordinate with the functional departments of Quang Tri province to deliver the gifts to fishermen, border guards and people living along the province's land border to contribute to spreading the love for the homeland and protecting the sacred sovereignty of the Fatherland; at the same time, build more "National Flag Road" projects in the province, to contribute to spreading and arousing patriotism and national pride" - Editor-in-Chief of the Lao Dong Newspaper said.

Mr. Dao Manh Hung, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province, highly appreciated the effectiveness and significance of the program "Proud of the National Flag" as well as other programs implemented by Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper .
"The national flags will accompany fishermen to the sea, flying over the seas, mountains, and important projects to demonstrate the position, pride, and efforts of each Quang Tri citizen as the province continues to innovate and develop. The programs of the Lao Dong Newspaper are almost identical to the province's social security policies. Therefore, we look forward to the companionship of the Lao Dong Newspaper to support and encourage Quang Tri to have more effective social security policies," said Mr. Dao Manh Hung.
