Nhan Dan Newspaper received a delegation of leaders and managers of the press and media of the Lao People's Democratic Republic.

On October 22, during a study and practical research program in Vietnam, a delegation of leaders and managers of the press and media of the Lao People's Democratic Republic visited and worked at Nhan Dan Newspaper, learning about the topic "Managing content on multiple platforms of Nhan Dan Newspaper".

Attending the reception, on behalf of Nhan Dan Newspaper, there were comrades: Vu Mai Hoang, Head of Technology Department of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Chairman of the Association of Journalists of Nhan Dan Newspaper; Ngo Viet Anh, Director of the Center for Media Development; Nguyen Hoang Nhat, Deputy Head of Electronic People Department; Bui Nam Dong, Deputy Head of Electronic People Department; Le Phan Anh, Deputy Head of Technology Department; Huynh Minh Tuan, Member of the Executive Committee of the Association of Journalists of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Chief of Office of the Association.

Speaking at the reception, comrade Vu Mai Hoang gave an overview of the development and operation of Nhan Dan Newspaper, the mouthpiece of the Communist Party of Vietnam , emphasizing its pioneering role in propagating the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws.

Nhan Dan Newspaper always focuses on strengthening international cooperation, expanding friendly relations with press agencies in the region and the world , including the good traditional relationship with Pa-xa-xon Newspaper (Lao People's Democratic Republic).

In recent times, Nhan Dan Newspaper has been promoting digital transformation, applying science and technology in the production and publication of news articles; developing a converged newsroom, producing multi-platform content to meet the increasingly diverse information needs of the public.

Comrade Nguyen Hoang Nhat, Deputy Head of the People's Electronic Committee, shared about innovations and bright spots in applying technology in creative press content activities.

Along with maintaining Vietnamese publications, Nhan Dan Electronic Newspaper has been expanding many other language versions such as English, Chinese, French, Russian, and soon Japanese, Korean... to spread official Vietnamese information to the world.

On behalf of the Lao delegation, comrade Latkhamphoumy, representing the Lao delegation of leaders and managers of the press and media, expressed his pleasure in visiting and learning about the reality at Vietnam's leading press agency: "We are very impressed with the convergent newsroom model and the way Nhan Dan Newspaper operates and coordinates news production. This is a valuable experience that Lao press can refer to in the process of gradually transforming digitally, improving the effectiveness of propaganda and serving the public."

Comrade Latkhamphoumy expressed his pleasure to visit and learn about the reality at Vietnam's leading press agency.

The delegation representative shared that Nhan Dan Newspaper is a typical model of innovation and media convergence, with valuable experience in management and organization of content production on multiple platforms, which the Lao side wishes to learn and apply to domestic journalism and communication practices.

During the working program, the two sides exchanged key contents including: experience in managing content on multiple platforms; introducing the digital transformation work of Nhan Dan Newspaper; the model of converging editorial offices and multimedia news production; and jointly orienting the organization of major events, special pages, and columns on the occasion of the country's important holidays in 2025 such as April 30, May 19, September 2 and Exhibition A80.

At the end of the working session, the Lao delegation visited the editorial office of Nhan Dan Electronic Newspaper, exchanged, gave souvenirs and took souvenir photos.

The program has contributed to strengthening the traditional cooperation and friendship between the two press agencies, opening up opportunities for exchange and learning experiences to develop modern, professional journalism, effectively serving the information and propaganda career of the two countries Vietnam and Laos.
