According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, Storm No. 11 Matmo made its second landfall in China in the Fangcheng area (Guangxi province). At 6:00 a.m. on October 6, the storm was at level 8, gusting to level 10. It is forecasted that in the next 3 hours, the storm will move in a West Northwest direction at a speed of about 20 km/h.

Vietnam's mainland areas are no longer at risk of being affected by level 8 winds, heavy rain in the mountainous and midland areas of the North will be concentrated in the evening and night of October 6.

On land in Quang Ninh and Lang Son areas, strong winds of level 6, in some places level 7, gusting to level 9, trees shaking, difficult to go against the wind.

Under the influence of storm No. 11 Matmo, it is necessary to guard against the risk of thunderstorms, tornadoes and strong gusts of wind.

Weather forecast for regions from the night of October 7 to October 15, the meteorological agency said that from October 8, heavy rain in the North and Thanh Hoa will decrease rapidly, this area will still have showers and thunderstorms in some places, sunny days.
