At sea, strong winds of level 8-11 and waves up to 5m high will cause rough seas in the North and South of Bac Bo Gulf, extremely dangerous for boats, rafts and coastal structures. The coast from Hung Yen to Quang Ninh may see water levels rise 0.5-1m, causing flooding on the afternoon of July 22.
On land, from the evening of July 21, the area from Quang Ninh to Nghe An may record strong winds of level 7-9, near the storm center of level 10-11, gusting to level 14. On land, there are also strong gusts of wind, with the potential risk of blowing off roofs, falling trees, and breaking electric poles.
Widespread heavy rain: From July 21-23, the Northeast, the Northern Delta, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An will have rain from 200-350mm, some places over 600mm. The remaining provinces in the North and Ha Tinh will have rain from 100-200mm, some places over 300mm.
Urgent warning: Heavy rain in a short period of time can easily cause flash floods and landslides in mountainous areas and deep flooding in low-lying areas and urban areas. People are advised to take proactive measures and monitor updated information from authorities.
