Delivering a speech at the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Son, Party Secretary and Editor-in-Chief of Thai Nguyen Newspaper, expressed his respect, gratitude, and deepest gratitude to generations of journalists of Thai Nguyen Newspaper. He emphasized: Over the past six decades, generations of journalists of Thai Nguyen Newspaper have made extremely important contributions to building, maintaining and promoting the glorious tradition of Thai Nguyen Newspaper, as well as contributing to building an increasingly strong Vietnamese revolutionary press.

The year 2025 is not only an important milestone in the history of Vietnam's revolutionary press, but also a year marking a strong transformation of the press in the country in general, and the Thai Nguyen press in particular. Implementing the major policy of the Central and the Provincial Party Committees of the two provinces, Thai Nguyen Newspaper will merge with the Radio and Television Stations of Thai Nguyen and Bac Kan provinces, Bac Kan Newspaper and the Literature and Arts Magazine of the two provinces to form a press and multimedia communication agency called Thai Nguyen Newspaper and Radio and Television Station. The new press agency will provide information in all four types of press: printed newspaper, electronic newspaper, radio, television, and appear on many different platforms. Press products will also be presented in many languages from Vietnamese to English, Chinese, Korean, Tay, Dao, Mong.

Although the road ahead will still be full of obstacles and challenges, everyone believes that with the spirit of solidarity, creativity and determination, the new press agency will overcome difficulties and barriers, continuing to affirm its leading position in the Northern Midlands and Mountains region. - Editor-in-Chief of Thai Nguyen Newspaper Nguyen Ngoc Son emphasized.

At the meeting, leaders, cadres and workers of Thai Nguyen Newspaper through the periods and at present spoke, together reviewing the glorious journey of the Vietnamese revolutionary press, together looking back at 100 years of accompanying the nation. At the same time, they expressed their expectations and belief in the development of the press agency after the merger in the era of national growth.

On this occasion, Thai Nguyen Newspaper introduces the documentary report "War Zone Journalism Once and Forever"; launches Podcast on Thai Nguyen Electronic Newspaper; announces that Thai Nguyen Newspaper Fanpages have been granted a blue tick; organizes a photo exhibition to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day and the 63rd anniversary of Thai Nguyen Newspaper's founding (August 25, 1962 - August 25, 2025). In particular, the photo exhibition introduces cufflinks, some newspapers and images of the activities of Bac Thai Newspaper and Thai Nguyen Newspaper through the periods, leaving a deep impression on viewers.
