In further discussion with the Editorial Board of Thanh Nien Newspaper, Chairman Phan Van Mai shared his concerns about the idea of establishing a credit fund to support students studying at colleges and universities in Ho Chi Minh City.
Ho Chi Minh City leaders said they had discussed with Ho Chi Minh City National University, the State Bank of Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh City branch and the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union about establishing this fund and asked Thanh Nien Newspaper and Tuoi Tre Newspaper to be the accompanying media agencies. This fund will operate on the principle of borrowing and paying back, sharing risks with students but also helping students orient their future studies and jobs to repay the loan.
