Typhoon Yinxing is reaching its maximum intensity of level 15, gusting over level 17, and continues to move west-northwest. It is forecasted that on the morning of November 8, Typhoon Yinxing will decrease by one level, enter the East Sea, and become storm number 7.
According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 1:00 p.m. this afternoon (November 7), the center of storm Yinxing was located in the sea northeast of Luzon Island (Philippines). The strongest wind near the center of the storm was level 15 (167-183 km/h), gusting to level 17. Moving in a West-Northwest direction at a speed of 10-15 km/h.
In the next 24 hours, the storm will change direction to move west, accelerating at 15-20km/h, entering the East Sea. By 1pm tomorrow (November 8), the storm's eye will be in the eastern sea area of the North East Sea. The strongest wind near the storm's eye will decrease by 1 level, to level 14, gusting to over level 17.
On its way to the Hoang Sa archipelago, storm No. 7 changed direction continuously and tended to weaken.
From the next 72 to 120 hours, the storm changed direction to move southwest, traveling 10-15km per hour, and continued to weaken.
Due to the influence of storm Yinxing, the eastern sea area of the North East Sea has strong winds of level 6-7. From tonight, it will increase to level 8-11, near the storm's eye it will be level 12-14, gusting to level 17, waves 4-6m high, near the eye 6-8m; rough seas.
Ships operating in the above mentioned dangerous areas are susceptible to the effects of storms, whirlwinds, strong winds and large waves.
