The patrol team quickly approached the vessel and asked the two fishing boats to stop the violation and made a record. At the same time, they organized to bring the violators and vessels to Phu Hai port (Phu Thuy ward, Lam Dong province) for handling according to the law.

Over the past time, the Provincial Border Guard has deployed synchronous measures to effectively combat IUU fishing in the province. Along with strengthening the dissemination of legal regulations to fishermen and fishing boat owners; closely managing and monitoring fishing boats when leaving and entering ports and strictly handling violations.

Patrolling, detecting and strictly handling fishing vessels operating with double trawls (flying trawls) in the wrong sea areas demonstrates the determination of the Provincial Border Guard force in the activities of exploiting and destroying near-shore marine resources, seriously affecting aquatic resources in the province in particular and the whole country in general.
