The exhibition "Changing Seasons" by artist Thai Vinh Thanh has just opened at May Artspace (36/70 Nguyen Gia Tri, Ward 25, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City, running until June 29) and really surprised the audience. Curator Ngo Kim Khoi called it a song of joy.
Painter Thai Vinh Thanh confided: "June is the rainy season, I want to send stories about the beauty of nature in my own painting language."
Curator Ngo Kim Khoi commented: "Thanh carries visual art in joy, we will not find sadness or melancholy in Thanh's paintings. He often uses bright, vibrant colors. Whether or not there is a bit of darkness somewhere, but clearly the presence of this dark color is only essential to create depth and highlight the brilliant clarity of other colors. More realistically, we can pay attention to the background of Thanh's paintings, often pinks leaning towards purple, deep blue sky, gentle dreamy orange or bright sunny yellow..., always giving us optimism and love of life. Sometimes there is also a grayish tinge but not sad, only bringing a hint of doubt and hesitation. Then from that background bloom bright, sparkling works. Sometimes, I compare Thanh's works to fireworks bursting with the colors of happiness, shimmering and radiant like a heart in love".

Also according to Curator Ngo Kim Khoi: "Thanh's paintings are not only paintings, interwoven between impression and expression, but also have the rhythm of music , a joyful and jubilant music. Sit in your living room, look at Thai Vinh Thanh's paintings on the wall, admire the colors dancing together in a symphony of joy, in your heart rise the ambitions of people towards friendship...".
Painter Le Hai Trieu has a different view of painter Thai Vinh Thanh: "Thanh paints in a variety of genres, but his core is abstraction. Abstract expression, and abstraction needs the most expression and visual sense of color. The colors in his paintings are delicious and sweet. I like Thanh's color palette the most, the result of his decades of experience in the profession. I wanted to tell more about him, but my brothers have already told it all."

All of these moments were captured by artist Thai Vinh Thanh with sudden emotions. And the artist calls his perfected brainchild, romantic love songs of the changing seasons. "The feeling of rain falling quietly on the leaves, sunlight gently filtering through the clouds, and the gentle sound of waves lapping the shore. Every moment was captured by me with sudden emotions that may, or may not, be encountered again," artist Thai Vinh Thanh shared.
