According to statistics from Aseanutdfc, U23 Vietnam is the team with the highest average ball control rate in the 2025 Southeast Asian U23 Tournament. After 2 matches, coach Kim Sang Sik and his team dominated their opponents and had an average ball control time of up to 72.5%, higher than the second-ranked team, Indonesia (72.1%).
U23 Vietnam has a passing accuracy rate of up to 90%, only U23 Indonesia can do the same. U23 Vietnam has a higher average number of passes than Indonesia.
