Electing 3 additional members to the People's Committee of Cao Bang province

On the morning of August 8, the People's Council of Cao Bang province held its 35th session, passed important resolutions and dismissed and elected additional members of the Provincial People's Committee.

Comrade Be Thanh Tinh, Chairman of Cao Bang Provincial People's Council, spoke at the meeting.

The delegates conducted the procedure to dismiss two comrades from the position of members of the Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee: Trinh Sy Tai, former Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Committee (transferred); Dong Thi Kieu Oanh, former Director of the Department of Industry and Trade (retired).

Next, the delegates elected 3 additional members of the Provincial People's Committee: Duong Hung Dung, Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Quoc Trung, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Pham Xuan Tung, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade. The 3 comrades were elected with a high number of votes.

At the meeting, delegates reviewed, commented on and approved 9 Resolutions on: List of projects and works requiring land acquisition in 2025; adjustment and supplementation of the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021-2025.

Cao Bang Provincial People's Council applies "paperless" meetings to save costs on printing documents and stationery.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Be Thanh Tinh, Chairman of the Cao Bang Provincial People's Council affirmed that with the spirit of innovation, close adherence to reality, responsibility, companionship and sharing, the Cao Bang Provincial People's Council has promptly concretized the policies of the Provincial Party Committee, issued Resolutions to create a legal corridor for the Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee to carry out socio -economic development tasks and ensure national defense and security.

The Resolutions were issued, practical, and highly feasible. After the meeting, it is recommended that the People's Committee of Cao Bang province, specialized agencies, and localities promptly develop plans, implement them, and put the contents of the Resolutions into practice, effectively promoting socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and security in the locality.
