Elected Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan as Deputy Secretary of Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee

On the afternoon of July 29, the Standing Committee of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee convened a meeting of the Provincial Party Executive Committee and a conference of key officials of the province to meet and implement the personnel work process.

At the Conference, the Executive Committee of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee elected Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman in charge of the Provincial People's Committee, as Deputy Secretary of the 20th Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Electing additional members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, term 2020-2025, for Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha, Provincial Party Committee member, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province.

Delegates voted to elect Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan as Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.

The conference carried out the process of introducing personnel for the 19th term of the Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee, term 2021-2026. The steps of electing additional personnel and introducing personnel were carried out in accordance with the process and regulations, ensuring objectivity and democracy.

Previously, on July 10, the People's Council of Bac Ninh province passed a resolution to dismiss Ms. Nguyen Huong Giang from the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, term XIX, 2021 - 2026, according to the opinion of the Secretariat and the conclusion of the Standing Committee of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee.

On April 26, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang signed the Prime Minister's decisions to discipline Ms. Nguyen Huong Giang, Chairwoman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province for the 2021-2026 term, by reprimand. Ms. Giang was determined to have committed violations and shortcomings in her work and was disciplined by the Central Inspection Commission .
