Alphoso Davies has just renewed his contract with Bayern Munich.

This huge sum of money not only attracted attention within the team but also paved the way for similar financial requests from many other stars.

According to German sources, after rejecting offers from big clubs like Real Madrid, Davies committed to Bayern until 2030 with an annual salary of around 15 million euros. This decision is causing a lot of controversy within the club.

Jamal Musiala, despite his big pay package, is still on a significantly lower salary than Davies, which has led to other players such as Joshua Kimmich and Dayot Upamecano also starting to negotiate for big pay rises, adding to the tension in the dressing room.

Bayern now face the threat of a financial crisis, with many players using Davies' contract as a benchmark to demand similar treatment. Even Bayern legend and supervisory board member Uli Hoeness has publicly expressed concern about the club's finances.

"There is not much money left in our fixed account. We have to rethink our finances," Hoeness warned in an interview with Welt am Sonntag, implying that Bayern may have to borrow to make new signings - something that has never happened in the club's history.

Hoeness, who has built Bayern's financial foundations over decades, is now one of the most vocal critics of Bayern's sporting director Max Eberl over the expensive signings of Davies, Musiala and Kimmich, arguing that the decisions will weaken the club's financial strength.
