Musiala suffered a serious injury.

According to AS , Musiala will be sidelined for around eight weeks, making him certain to miss the two Champions League quarter-final matches against Inter Milan. The young German could also miss the dramatic confrontation with FC Barcelona, if both clubs qualify for the semi-finals.

The diagnosis revealed that Musiala had suffered a muscle tear in his left thigh, leaving Bayern Munich without one of their most important players at a crucial stage of the season, especially as they battle it out with Bayer Leverkusen for the Bundesliga title.

Musiala's absence along with other injuries to key players such as Alphonso Davies, Dayot Upamecano and Manuel Neuer will make it difficult for Bayern Munich to realize their ambitions this season.

This season, the 22-year-old star is the soul of the Bavarian team's playing style with the ability to handle the ball skillfully in tight spaces, sharp finishing and impressive tactical vision. Musiala has scored 18 goals and assisted 5 times for the Allianz Arena club in all competitions.

Despite losing their key midfielder, Bayern still showed their mettle by winning 3-1 against Augsburg, where Harry Kane and Leroy Sane scored the decisive goals, helping Bayern maintain a safe distance from Leverkusen.
