During the Investment Promotion Program of Gia Lai province in Korea from August 10, 2025 to August 14, 2025, on August 13, 2025, the Gia Lai Investment Promotion Delegation led by Mr. Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, had a working session with the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI).
At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang, Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee, introduced an overview of the potential and strengths of Gia Lai province, especially in the fields of high-tech agriculture , renewable energy, and logistics infrastructure development, emphasizing the similarities in terrain and natural conditions between Busan and Gia Lai, creating a favorable foundation for long-term cooperation.
The Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee expressed his hope that BCCI would act as a bridge to support Gia Lai in connecting with Korean businesses and investors with potential and experience in the fields of seaports, logistics, agricultural processing, renewable energy and smart urban development; at the same time, enhance information exchange, organize bilateral investment promotion programs to realize cooperation opportunities.
Working with the delegation, Mr. Yang Jae Sang, Chairman of BCCI expressed his impression of the potential and development orientation of Gia Lai province; affirmed the desire to strengthen cooperation between the Busan business community and Gia Lai province in the fields of trade, investment, logistics and infrastructure development.
At the same time, Mr. Yang Jae Sang also affirmed that BCCI is committed to accompanying and actively supporting Gia Lai in connecting with capable and reputable Korean enterprises and investors; prioritizing promoting cooperation in the fields of seaports, logistics, agricultural processing and preservation, renewable energy, international trade and infrastructure development.
On this occasion, the Chairman of BCCI proposed that the two sides establish a regular exchange channel and soon organize Busan business delegations to survey and explore investment opportunities in Gia Lai; at the same time, invite provincial leaders and Gia Lai businesses to attend trade and investment promotion events organized by BCCI in the coming time.
According to Mr. Yang Jae Sang, one of the projects attracting BCCI's attention at present is Phu My Industrial Park and Phu My Port - two strategic investment projects of Gia Lai province. BCCI highly appreciates the potential for logistics connectivity between Busan Port and Phu My Port, which will open up opportunities for cooperation in the fields of maritime transport, import and export, and supply chain development.

Including, Phu My Investment Group Joint Stock Company and Eric C&C Company signed an MOU on cooperation in developing automatic ports, smart logistics solutions and digital infrastructure to serve Phu My port.
Viet Phuc Co., Ltd. and MIDAS HOLDING CO., LTD signed a MOU on cooperation to develop fruit preservation systems, build agricultural processing facilities, cold logistics chains, and expand cooperation in other areas in the agricultural value chain.
