10-year-old girl suddenly disappeared, found in the forest in an unbelievable state

Peyton Saintignan, 10, left her Dubberly home on September 14 and was found the next day sleeping in a nearby wooded area, wearing blue pajamas and no shoes.

Webster Parish Sheriff Jason Parker said the girl wandered away from her home and was spotted by security cameras moving in a wooded area.

Police began searching on September 15 with hundreds of volunteers and multiple agencies, sniffer dogs and a drone system equipped with a thermal camera. Police finally found the girl curled up sleeping on the ground in the woods around 11 p.m. that night.

When police captured images of Peyton Saintignan sleeping in the woods, she was woken up and taken to safety and tested to ensure she was healthy.
