Attending the closing ceremony were Major General, Dr. Phung Thi Phu, Deputy Director of the Department of Military Training - Schools, General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army; representatives of leaders and commanders of a number of agencies, units, academies and schools inside and outside the Army.
The 2025 contest for lecturers of social sciences and humanities at military academies and schools has the participation of 18 teams with 36 contestants selected from 18 academies, officer schools, and universities in the Army. This is the first contest organized at the military level under the Project "Innovation in social sciences and humanitieseducation in schools of the Vietnam People's Army".

According to the Organizing Committee's assessment, the essay writing competition had good quality in terms of content, form of expression and argumentative thinking. Most of the articles adhered to the topic, analyzed and presented deeply in the fight against erroneous and hostile viewpoints. 100% of the articles demonstrated correct political awareness, strong ideological fortitude and a high sense of responsibility for the issues raised in the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation.
For the lecture preparation section, the contestants followed the plan and the contest regulations to prepare their lectures. The presentation format was correct, the layout was tight and scientific ; creativity in applying theory and practice; the lectures basically identified the right focus and key points; adhered to the basic content of the document, and were presented in a general and concise manner according to the intention, purpose, and requirements of the lecture...

In the practical teaching exam, most candidates took the initiative in their time, grasped the content and requirements of the lesson, and followed the correct teaching procedures; Lecturers basically mastered the teaching aids, used images and video clips to illustrate the content close to the practical situation of the Army, units and schools, making the lectures rich, attractive, and easy for learners to absorb.
In his closing speech, Major General Tong Van Thanh praised and highly appreciated the efforts of 18 academies and schools that were interested in selecting lecturers to participate in the contest with the highest sense of responsibility; the efforts of lecturers participating in the contest. In order to promote the results and experiences of the contest, Major General Tong Van Thanh requested that academies and schools continue to lead and direct the promotion of innovation in teaching methods of social sciences and humanities, focusing on learners. Strengthen the application of information technology, artificial intelligence (AI), digital transformation in management and operation, improve the quality of lecture compilation, build a bank of high-quality sample lectures. Strengthen leadership and direction in building a team of lecturers of social sciences and humanities in both quantity and quality, especially in terms of moral qualities and capacity of lecturers.
For each lecturer participating in this contest, Major General Tong Van Thanh expressed his hope that they would continue to strive to study, practice, and become truly exemplary and pioneering figures in research and teaching of social sciences and humanities, contributing to building politically strong agencies, units, and schools, and successfully completing all assigned tasks.
At the closing ceremony, the Organizing Committee announced the decision and awarded 11 groups with outstanding achievements in the competition; awarded Certificates of Merit to 16 lecturers with outstanding results.
