According to Truong Thanh Dung, Chairman of the Hoa Cuong Ward People's Committee, recognizing entrepreneurship and innovation as important drivers for local economic development, the ward plans to build and operate a "Creative Cultural Space to Support Entrepreneurship and Innovation" in 2026. This space will showcase and introduce handicrafts and innovative products from local residents, and will also serve as a platform for connecting, sharing ideas, and fostering an entrepreneurial spirit within the community.
The People's Committee of the ward regularly organizes workshops, skills training, and guidance on livestreaming sales and business on digital platforms, supporting residents and business households to gradually adapt to e-commerce trends and expand their product markets. These activities have contributed to the formation, development, and gradual improvement of the startup ecosystem at the local level, creating additional livelihoods and jobs for people in the area.
In order to promptly identify and address the difficulties and obstacles faced by businesses, and to create opportunities for businesses to interact, connect, and cooperate for mutual development, the Hoa Cuong Ward Business Association has been established. The General Assembly of the Ward Business Association is expected to be held in March, opening an official forum to gather, support, and promote the role of private economic sectors, thereby contributing to sustainable socio-economic development in the area.
In 2026, Huong Tra ward identified the development of the private economy, supporting businesses and individual business households as one of its key tasks, directly linked to the goal of improving people's lives and creating momentum for sustainable growth at the grassroots level. According to Tran Trung Hau, Chairman of the People's Committee of Huong Tra ward, resolutions on the development of the private economy will only truly come to life when they are concretized through practical actions that closely match the needs of businesses and people.
"The ward authorities should not stop at disseminating information about policies, but must accompany and support people from the smallest details, so that they can confidently start businesses and invest in production and trade," Mr. Hau said.

In collaboration with businesses, the People's Committee of Huong Tra Ward focuses on supporting and guiding administrative procedures, helping start-up businesses and individual business households access preferential policies from the central and local governments more easily, especially regarding business registration, access to capital, and conversion of operating models to comply with legal regulations. Simplifying processes, enhancing consultation, and promptly addressing difficulties are considered important solutions to reduce time and costs, creating a transparent business environment right from the ward level.
Mr. Tran Trung Hau believes that when local authorities truly act as a "support system" for businesses and entrepreneurs, the private sector will have the conditions to develop healthily, making positive contributions to socio-economic development and local construction.
Bringing ideas to life
According to Le Cong Hung, Secretary of the City Youth Union, the unit regularly connects with businesses to support young people on their entrepreneurial journey; coordinates with the Department of Science and Technology to disseminate information and bring startup support policies closer to young people; and organizes "startup coffee" sessions and networking events, creating open spaces for young people to meet entrepreneurs and experts, share practical experiences, overcome difficulties, and inspire entrepreneurship. Through these events, many creative ideas are formed, refined, and gradually realized.
Simultaneously, schools and educational institutions are establishing entrepreneurship clubs, creating an environment for students to interact, learn, and nurture new, groundbreaking ideas.
According to Nguyen Viet Toan, Director of the Da Nang Innovation and Startup Support Center, the center's main objective for 2026 is to improve the quality of the city's innovation and startup ecosystem towards professionalism, efficiency, and integration. Accordingly, the focus will be on building Da Nang into an attractive destination for founders, investors, and startup support organizations, by elevating the city's branded events and connecting the regional startup ecosystem with national and international networks.

In addition, it is necessary to strengthen international cooperation, especially with innovative startup partners; gradually form an innovation space, creating a channel to connect knowledge, experts, capital, and technology for the city's ecosystem.
The center also strengthens its internal support capacity through training and upgrading the skills of its staff; organizing comprehensive investigations, surveys, and assessments of the ecosystem as a basis for policy planning and implementation of support programs. In addition, activities connecting the ecosystem at the grassroots level, wards, and communes continue to be promoted, linking innovative startups with community life, creating a foundation for Da Nang to gradually assert its role as a center for innovative startups.
