Ben Tre province recognizes 11 more OCOP products.

VOV.VN - Ben Tre province recently awarded certificates and prizes to businesses whose products were recognized as 4-star and 5-star OCOP products in the first phase of 2024. This is one of the localities with the most OCOP-certified products in the Mekong Delta region.
Accordingly, the Ben Tre Department of Agriculture and Rural Development awarded certificates and prizes to 11 products from 8 entities. Notably, one product received national-level OCOP certification (5-star OCOP product) – frozen durian from Chanh Thu Fruit Import-Export Co., Ltd. – and 10 products received provincial-level OCOP certification (4-star OCOP products). These include: Quoi Son green pomelo from Quoi Son Green Pomelo Cooperative; Giao Long green pomelo from Giao Long Agricultural Service Cooperative; dried mango from NODAVI Food Co., Ltd.; Tan Phu durian from Tan Phu Agricultural Cooperative; bee honey; longan flower honey from Tin Phat Honey Joint Stock Company; green pomelo from Giong Trom Green Pomelo Cooperative; Delta Coco creamy coconut creamer, Delta Coco coconut milk, and Delta Coco 100% natural concentrated coconut milk from Ben Tre Coconut Investment Joint Stock Company.
Mr. Doan Van Danh, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Ben Tre province, presented certificates to OCOP products.
After more than 6 years of implementing the OCOP Program, Ben Tre province now has 316 OCOP products that have achieved 3 stars or higher (including 252 3-star products, 59 4-star products, and 5 5-star products) from 159 businesses.
Ben Tre is one of the top provinces nationwide in terms of the number of OCOP products achieving 5-star certification. The province's OCOP products have gradually affirmed their value and quality in the market and gained consumer trust. Over the past period, Ben Tre province has implemented many trade promotion programs, exhibitions, and fairs to promote and expand the market for OCOP products, forming a system of stores and cooperatives to support producers in bringing their products to consumers more easily.
