VOV.VN - Ben Tre province has just awarded certificates and awards to entities with products recognized as 4-star and 5-star OCOP in Ben Tre province in the first phase of 2024. This is one of the localities with the most OCOP products in the Mekong Delta region.
Accordingly, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Ben Tre province awarded certificates and prizes to 11 products of 8 entities. Notably, there is 1 product that has achieved national OCOP certification (5-star OCOP product) which is frozen durian of Chanh Thu Fruit Import-Export Company Limited and 10 products that have achieved provincial OCOP certification (4-star OCOP products). Including: Quoi Son green-skin grapefruit of Quoi Son green-skin grapefruit Cooperative; Giao Long green-skin grapefruit of Giao Long Agricultural Service Cooperative; Dried mango of NODAVI Food Company Limited; Tan Phu durian of Tan Phu Agricultural Cooperative; Fly honey; Longan honey of Tin Phat Honey Joint Stock Company; Green-skin grapefruit of Giong Trom green-skin grapefruit Cooperative; Concentrated coconut creamer - Delta Coco, Coconut milk - Delta Coco and concentrated coconut milk - 100% natural - Delta Coco of Ben Tre Coconut Investment Joint Stock Company.

After more than 6 years of implementing the OCOP Program, up to now, Ben Tre province has had 316 OCOP products with 3 stars or more (including 252 3-star products, 59 4-star products and 5 5-star products) of 159 entities.
Ben Tre is one of the top provinces in the country in terms of the number of 5-star certified OCOP products. The province's OCOP products have gradually affirmed their value and quality in the market and gained the trust of consumers. In recent times, Ben Tre province has implemented many trade promotion programs, exhibitions, and fairs to promote and expand the market for OCOP products, forming a system of stores and cooperatives to consume products to support producers to bring products to consumers more conveniently.
