E Hospital officially recognized for its testing system meeting international standards

The three departments of Biochemistry, Microbiology and Hematology have all established standard testing procedures under strict quality control. The departments ensure the steps from testing quality control, arranging testing requirements, sampling, transporting samples, preserving, processing and testing samples scientifically and accurately.

Testing quality management according to ISO 15189:2022 helps ensure the provision of fast and accurate test results. Not only that, this is also the basis for promoting the connection of test results between medical facilities. Thereby helping to save costs, shorten time and bring high-quality testing services to patients.

Currently, the Microbiology Department is equipped with a system of modern machinery and equipment to help save time and provide accurate and fast test results. One of the improvements that has brought great benefits to patients is that the hospital has comprehensively improved the sampling area, transferring test samples automatically using compressed air. This system brings many benefits to both medical staff and patients, not only saving manpower but also helping to save time transporting samples from the sampling area to the laboratories. Therefore, patients get test results sooner.

The Biochemistry Department is equipped with many modern devices for accurate and reliable results, providing doctors and patients with specialized test results such as blood, urine, fluids... to serve the diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of inpatients and outpatients....

The Hematology Department is also equipped with many modern machines and medical equipment, meeting the hospital's continuous testing needs. The department has currently developed technical processes, management processes, record arrangement, 5S departments, etc.

Dr. Nguyen Cong Huu shared that after more than a year of implementation, the recognition of the 3 departments of Biochemistry, Hematology, and Microbiology to meet ISO 15189:2022 standards has marked an important milestone in the journey of quality commitment and improvement of health care services for the people, towards patient satisfaction at the Hospital. This is the foundation to continue to maintain and improve the quality of testing, quality of medical examination and treatment, towards achieving higher certifications of the Hospital.

Representatives of the Office of Accreditation of Conformity Assessment Competence (AOSC) announced the decision to recognize the capacity of medical laboratories meeting the requirements of ISO 15189:2022 and awarded certificates to 3 departments: Biochemistry, Hematology, and Microbiology.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Cong Khan - Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Office of Accreditation of the Assessment of Conformity to Quality Standards (AOSC) emphasized that currently, E Hospital is one of the few hospitals to achieve the latest version of ISO 15189: 2022 certification, which once again affirms the brand and reputation of E Hospital, a trusted medical examination and treatment address chosen by people at home and abroad.

Dr. Tran Thi Van Ha - Head of Hematology Department, E Hospital shared that achieving the certificate is difficult, maintaining and promoting the achieved results is much more difficult. Therefore, in the coming time, the hospital will continue to perform in-depth tests for blood diseases.
