To receive these awards in stroke treatment, institutions must meet criteria set by the WSO regarding emergency systems, personnel, equipment, gold standards in ischemic stroke treatment, revascularization, timely diagnosis and treatment, and intervention. Most importantly, the certification awarded by the World Stroke Organization to a stroke emergency and treatment system that meets standards is not permanent. Instead, the organization assesses quality quarterly, and only those that meet a series of stringent criteria will be "re-certified."

Dr. Nguyen Cong Huu, Director of E Hospital (wearing a white shirt), receives the gold award for stroke treatment.

Currently, E Hospital is one of the few medical facilities in Hanoi that can successfully treat stroke patients from the time they are admitted to the hospital until they receive treatment within just 30 minutes. The approach to managing and treating stroke patients here has developed significantly, adopting many advanced and cutting-edge techniques from around the world.

In particular, E Hospital has a modern digital subtraction angiography (DSA) system with many functions to serve complex cardiovascular intervention cases. Furthermore, thanks to the application of modern technology, doctors can detect abnormalities in blood flow early, leading to accurate diagnosis and treatment of serious diseases in the cardiovascular and neurological fields, surgical planning, and precise identification of internal lesions.
