There are currently about 1,000 major hospitals worldwide that have achieved the JCI gold seal of quality. "Achieving the JCI gold seal certification is very difficult, not only in Vietnam but also in developing countries," emphasized Dr. Jean-Marcel Guillon, CEO of FV Hospital.
The difficulty that the FV CEO mentioned during the JCI assessment process was vividly demonstrated by the fact that JCI experts "scrutinized" even the details of the surgical scissors after use, put into the sterilizer, whether they were closed or opened. If the scissors were closed, they were not clean enough, but had to be opened to ensure complete sterilization. But just to turn the small process mentioned above into a habit, it took the hospital's medical team about 2 months.

"We are fully aware that such strictness to every detail is all for the purpose of ensuring the highest safety and best treatment results for patients. Therefore, the entire hospital team has been constantly striving for a long time to achieve each of the more than 1,200 strict criteria of JCI," said a representative of FV.
Previously, FV Hospital achieved the JCI gold seal of quality certification for the first time in 2015. 2016, 2nd time in 2019 and 3rd time in 2022 , following the 3-year cycle, there will be a re-evaluation once with more than 1,200 strict criteria.
