Thu Duc City Hospital changed its name to Thu Duc General Hospital, launched a new identity

On the morning of August 23, the old Thu Duc City Hospital held a ceremony to announce the name change to Thu Duc General Hospital and launch a new brand identity.

Dr. Vu Tri Thanh - Director of Thu Duc General Hospital - said the hospital's name was changed in accordance with the State's policies and guidelines under the current two-level government model.

Changing the hospital's name is also the hospital's wish to change the way of thinking and doing in examining and treating people, in line with the spirit of "serving the people".

Accordingly, from August 7, Thu Duc City Hospital was recognized to change its name to Thu Duc General Hospital, under the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health according to Decision No. 517/QD-UBND of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.

The hospital's new brand identity has a logo designed with two main colors, blue and red, symbolizing trust and enthusiasm. The image of a hand holding a heart combined with an electrocardiogram conveys the message that the hospital always puts patients at the center, wholeheartedly caring for and protecting the health of the community.

According to Mr. Thanh, the change in identity does not affect medical examination and treatment activities. Procedures, service quality and patient rights are still guaranteed at the highest level.

At the same time, in the coming time, the hospital will continue to invest in facilities, expand specialties and apply new technology to better meet people's health care needs.

In addition, information technology infrastructure is also being strengthened to serve the application of digital transformation in diagnosis and treatment...

At the announcement ceremony, the hospital also coordinated with other units to donate 50 wheelchairs, 50 support fees, 300 medical examinations, medicine and gifts... to disadvantaged patients.

Ms. NTKO (born in 1955) expressed her hope that after changing the name, the hospital will still be a trusted place for medical examination and treatment, serving patients wholeheartedly and enthusiastically, and continuing to have many programs to support patients in difficulty...
