The patient is Mr. Doan Tinh (born in 1968), a crew member of fishing boat QNg 905947 TS of Quang Ngai province. Previously, at around 6:00 a.m. on July 6, while the fishing boat was operating in the Truong Sa sea area, Mr. Tinh suddenly became dizzy, collapsed, paralyzed on the left side of his body, with severe headache, difficulty speaking and loss of bladder control. As soon as the incident was discovered, the crew members took Mr. Tinh to Tien Nu island for first aid. Realizing the seriousness of the patient's condition, doctors on Tien Nu island immediately transferred Mr. Tinh to Nam Yet island's infirmary at 10:00 a.m. the same day.
Doctors at Nam Yet Island Clinic examined and consulted remotely with Military Hospital 103 and Military Hospital 175. Through initial diagnosis, the patient suffered a stroke in the 25th hour, left hemiplegia, accompanied by high blood pressure and lipid metabolism disorder. Doctors assessed the serious condition and needed to transfer to a higher level as soon as possible when specialized means of transport were available. Currently, the patient is receiving intensive treatment on the island.
