Letter from the Secretary of the Hoa Vang District Party Committee to students of Nam Yen village, Hoa Bac commune
At the end of the letter, the Secretary of the Hoa Vang District Party Committee wished the students to soon stabilize their studies and always believed that the boundless love of teachers would soon help them catch up with their friends.
Previously, due to the policy of merging village schools into the main school, since the opening ceremony until now, 54 students in Nam Yen village have not attended school. The reason is that parents opposed the merger, wanting to maintain the old school near their home so that their children can go to class by themselves. The Nam Yen village school is nearly 2 km from the main school. In the 2023-2024 school year, the main school will be newly built with a budget of nearly 25 billion VND.
The new school has just been invested in and put into use in the 2023-2024 school year.
During the dialogue between local authorities and parents on September 10, Mr. Hung proposed two options: Arrange temporary teachers at the old school for grades 1, 2 and 3, while grades 4 and 5 go to the new school; all students go to the new school.
Also at the dialogue, Mr. Hung proposed many solutions to support parents in taking their children to school. He even said that he would assign staff to support in case parents are unable to pick up and drop off their children. All of this is aimed at ensuring that children have the right to study, to study in a spacious school - fully meeting the requirements ofeducational innovation.

After that, Hoa Bac commune coordinated with the school to collect parents' opinions, but the majority still did not agree with the above two options.
On the afternoon of September 12, Ms. Le Thi Thanh Xuan, Vice Principal in charge of Hoa Bac Primary School, said that so far, 9/54 students have returned to school.
