Nam Dinh Provincial Party Secretary meets with the provincial delegation attending the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress

At the meeting, Mr. Tran Minh Thang, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nam Dinh province, informed that the 10th Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front will take place in 3 days, from October 16 to 18, 2024 at the National Convention Center (Hanoi); the official opening session will take place on the morning of October 17, broadcast live on television and radio.

With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Creativity - Development", the Congress has 5 main tasks, including: discussing and approving the summary report of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 9th tenure, 2019-2024 term and the Action Program of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 10th tenure, 2024-2029 term; reviewing the activities of the Committee, the Presidium and the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 9th tenure; amending and supplementing the Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; consulting to elect the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 10th tenure, 2024-2029 term; and approving the Resolution of the Congress.

It is expected that there will be about 1,098 official delegates divided into 69 delegations and 300 invited delegates attending the Congress. According to the list, the delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Nam Dinh province has 12 official delegates, including 1 appointed delegate, 2 ex-officio delegates, and 9 delegates elected by consultation at the 17th Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress. The number of delegates of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province attending the Congress is 11/12 people (one delegate is absent due to health reasons).

Also according to Mr. Tran Minh Thang, recently, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nam Dinh province has actively prepared necessary conditions for the delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province to attend the Congress to achieve the best results.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee Pham Gia Tuc emphasized the important role and position of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the cause of great national unity; emphasizing the important significance of the 10th Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front Delegates, term 2024-2029.

Accordingly, the Congress takes place at a time when the entire Party, people and army are determined to successfully complete the goals and tasks of 2024 and 2025 and strive to implement the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party, making achievements to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam; 80 years of the successful August Revolution and National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; 50 years of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification; 135 years of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday; 95 years of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front - the traditional day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; towards the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Party and 100 years of the founding of the country.

Nam Dinh Provincial Party Secretary Pham Gia Tuc presented flowers, congratulated and encouraged the provincial delegates to successfully complete their tasks at the 10th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

The Secretary of the Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee noted that when attending the Congress, the provincial delegates need to strictly follow the regulations of the Congress; actively participate in the activities of the Congress; prepare and contribute frank and intellectual opinions, contributing to the overall success of the Congress, thereby contributing to building, consolidating and promoting the strength of great national unity in building, protecting and developing the homeland and the country.

Mr. Pham Gia Tuc expressed his belief that with the tradition of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Nam Dinh province, the delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province will successfully complete the tasks of the delegates, contributing to the overall success of the 10th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
