
Continuing his working trip to India, Comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and the working delegation of Nghe An province visited and worked at Motherson Group.
The delegation of Nghe An province includes comrade Pham Trong Hoang - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Inspection Committee and leaders of a number of departments, branches and localities.

Also attending the event were Mr. Nikhil Kanodia - President of the North, Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC). Receiving and working with the delegation, on behalf of Motherson Group, there were Mr. Sanjay Mehta - Head of Asia Office and leaders of the group.

In addition, the group also expands its operations into the fields of manufacturing robots, IT, aerospace, defense, logistics and medical products. In particular, in the field of aviation, Motherson is a partner of the world's leading aircraft manufacturers Boeing and Airbus.
Motherson Group has more than 350 manufacturing facilities in 42 countries around the world with about 180,000 employees; has a revenue of up to 70 billion USD, most of which comes from the production of auto parts, especially electrical wires.

After hearing about the history, development process, companies in the ecosystem and strategic vision of the group, Provincial Party Secretary Thai Thanh Quy expressed his joy when visiting Motherson, affirming that this was a very useful activity during his working trip to India; at the same time, he congratulated the strong development steps of the group headquartered in the South Asian country.

Although Motherson is not yet present in Vietnam, with the current development, the Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee expressed his confidence and hope that the group will soon be present in Vietnam. Because Vietnam is very interested in and creating favorable conditions to attract companies to invest in the production of auto parts to serve the development of the domestic auto industry.
“And when you come to Vietnam, please come and study the conditions to consider investing in Nghe An,” said Provincial Party Secretary Thai Thanh Quy, while introducing the natural conditions and competitive advantages of Nghe An.

In particular, the province has a diverse transportation system of all types, well-invested and modern infrastructure serving industrial development; an abundant labor force and large training facilities, providing quality human resources, meeting the needs of investors.
In addition, when "pouring capital" into the province with the largest area in Vietnam, investors also enjoy preferential policies on taxes and competitive land rental prices. With these advantages, in 2022 and 2023, Nghe An attracted nearly 2.5 billion USD in FDI, mainly in the fields of electronic components manufacturing, energy, and auto parts factories.

Nghe An is also proud to be the hometown of President Ho Chi Minh - who, together with Indian leaders, laid the foundation for building the friendly, traditional, united and cooperative relationship between Vietnam and India to this day.
Thanking the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) for facilitating the connection and the leaders of Motherson Group for receiving and working with the delegation, Nghe An Provincial Party Secretary Thai Thanh Quy wished the group continued strong development; at the same time reaffirmed the desire to cooperate with Motherson in Nghe An.

Impressed by the information introduced about Nghe An, Mr. Sanjay Mehta - Head of the Asia Regional Office said that he will consider organizing research and looking for investment cooperation opportunities.
