At the citizen reception session, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Long Hai received citizen Hoang Xuan Lam, residing at 14 Ly Thuong Kiet, Gio Linh town, Gio Linh district. Presenting his opinion, Mr. Hoang Xuan Lam said that for many years he had filed a complaint against the former Chairman of the People's Committee of Gio Linh town regarding violations in the implementation of the resettlement project in Kieu Thi area, Gio Linh town, but it has not been resolved yet.

Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Long Hai acknowledged the petition and requested competent authorities to provide information on the process of receiving and handling petitions in the past time.

Informing the citizens, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Long Hai said that since the citizen's petition was received, the competent agencies and localities have received and processed it in accordance with the law, but the citizen still does not agree. Currently, the provincial leaders have assigned the Provincial Inspectorate to conduct an inspection of the citizen's petition and the inspection has been completed, awaiting the issuance of a conclusion.

Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Long Hai requested the Provincial Inspectorate to issue a conclusion soon, and at the same time hoped that citizens would wait for the final conclusion of the competent authority so that the case could be resolved completely, ensuring the rule of law, rights and obligations of the parties involved.
