On the afternoon of December 12, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Hong Minh and the provincial working delegation inspected the progress of a number of transit and new traffic projects to be started in 2023 in Ha Lang district.
Accordingly, the delegation inspected the design documents, drawings, and field work of the Quang Long - Thong Nhat inter-commune traffic project; the project to renovate and upgrade the road from Kheo Meo hamlet to Pha Kha, Quang Long commune; the Bo Muc - Na Dang traffic road, Thong Nhat commune; the Provincial Road 208 project avoiding Thanh Nhat town and a location of the bridge, foundation, road surface, and drainage works.
To date, a number of projects have been completed and put into use, meeting the needs of travel and trade between localities. Some projects are under construction, the investor and the construction unit are focusing on resolving difficulties and problems in procedures and documents; coordinating with localities to clear the land, and lack of common construction materials.
After the inspection, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Hong Minh requested: Investors and contractors to focus on human resources, vehicles, and machinery to speed up the construction progress of items as committed, while focusing on ensuring the quality of the works. Local Party committees and authorities continue to do a good job of site clearance for projects that are still stuck; advise on resettlement arrangements for households subject to land acquisition under the Provincial Road 208 project, Thanh Nhat town bypass. Proactively monitor the situation, coordinate with relevant agencies, departments, and branches to promptly resolve difficulties and problems regarding procedural conditions; strengthen inspection and supervision of the progress and quality of works.
Regarding Provincial Road 208, he emphasized: This is a key project not only for Ha Lang district but also plays an important role in regional connectivity and socio -economic development of the eastern districts. Therefore, accelerating the construction progress as well as ensuring the quality of the project requires the active, drastic and synchronous participation of departments, branches and localities. Units need to arrange overtime, increase shifts, human resources, and material resources, accelerate the construction progress, disburse capital, and promptly complete procedures to settle capital in 2023 according to the set plan.
