Dien Bien TV - Continuing the working program in Muong Nhe district, on the morning of October 24, the working delegation of the Provincial Party Committee led by comrade Tran Quoc Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, worked with the Standing Committee of Muong Nhe District Party Committee. Attending the working session were comrade Lo Van Phuong, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, leaders of provincial departments and branches.

Provincial Party Secretary Tran Quoc Cuong concluded the working session with the Standing Committee of Muong Nhe District Party Committee.

At the working session, the Provincial Party Secretary affirmed: Since the beginning of the term, the Standing Committee of Muong Nhe District Party Committee has closely followed the province's policies, clearly defined tasks, focused on leadership, direction and implementation in quite comprehensive areas, notably: The economy has maintained growth; the district's key projects have been focused on accelerating progress, technical infrastructure and social infrastructure have been gradually improved; restructuring of the agricultural sector has been promoted, many new and highly effective agricultural production models have emerged.

Poverty reduction policies and livelihood creation for people have been effectively implemented, thanks to which the poverty rate has decreased by an average of 4.4% per year.

Party building and political system building are focused on; national border sovereignty continues to be maintained; national defense, political security, and social order and safety are ensured.

The Provincial Party Secretary also pointed out a number of shortcomings and limitations in implementing socio-economic development tasks in the district, accordingly: Some targets have not met the set plan; the disbursement rate of public investment capital is still slow, in the first 10 months of 2024, Muong Nhe district has only achieved 50% of the assigned capital plan; disbursement of career capital for national target programs is low; the results of implementing the target program for new rural construction have not met the plan; deforestation still occurs in the district...

To effectively carry out assigned tasks and complete the goals of the Resolution of the 5th District Party Congress, the Provincial Party Secretary requested Muong Nhe district to: Continue to review and evaluate unachieved and low-achieved targets, propose specific solutions to strive to successfully complete the set targets; proactively build and develop the Industrial Cluster at A Pa Chai Border Gate, focusing on processing agricultural and forestry products, international border gate services, and transit of exported goods abroad, in order to promote advantages in agricultural and forestry production, associated with processing industry and developing trade and services through A Pa Chai Border Gate.

The Standing Committee of the District Party Committee continues to focus on leading, directing, and effectively implementing the tasks of developing agricultural and forestry production associated with new rural construction; replicating agricultural production models associated with OCOP products....

The Provincial Party Secretary also emphasized: Muong Nhe district needs to continue to effectively implement administrative reforms, improve the investment and business environment; promote disbursement of public investment capital and career capital for the three national target programs, period 2021-2025; perform well the task of ensuring national defense and security; well resolve issues related to ethnicity and religion; focus on building and rectifying the Party and the political system from the district to the grassroots level.

Regarding the preparation and organization of party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, Muong Nhe district needs to specify the directive documents of the Central and Provincial Party Committees for effective implementation.

At the meeting, members of the working delegation answered and clarified a number of recommendations and proposals from the district, focusing on a number of important contents such as: Expanding the area of cinnamon, rubber and short-term industrial crops; handling the incident at Nam Nhe 2 bridge; urban planning work in Muong Nhe; ensuring security and order, border security, etc.
