Honoring 51 outstanding young people in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - To celebrate the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025), the 70th anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation Day (May 13, 1955 - May 13, 2025), on the afternoon of May 9, Hai Phong City Youth Union organized the 6th City-level Festival of Advanced Youth Following Uncle Ho's Teachings in 2025. Attending were representatives of the city's Departments, branches, and unions, along with 51 outstanding advanced youth delegates representing more than 500,000 union members and children in the city.

The city-level Advanced Youth Festival following Uncle Ho's teachings is held twice a year, and 2025 will be the 6th time the festival has been held. Through 5 festivals, the Standing Committee of the City Youth Union has honored hundreds of delegates with outstanding achievements in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style. This year's festival was held for 2 days, from May 9 to May 10. Delegates were able to offer incense at the Statue of Female General Le Chan; respond to the movement "Peace is Beautiful" at the City Theater; visit and learn about Uncle Ho's books at Hai Phong Book Street, and visit President Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum in Ba Dinh district, Hanoi. On this occasion, the Organizing Committee selected 36 individuals and 15 outstanding collectives, who are typical shining examples in various fields, representing more than 500,000 youth union members of Hai Phong city in the new period.

Speaking at the Festival, Secretary of the City Youth Union Le Khac Nguyen Anh acknowledged and commended the collectives and individuals honored in the festival program; at the same time, he hoped that in the coming time, studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style at all levels of the City Youth Union will continue to be promoted, becoming increasingly in-depth, practical and effective.

Commendation of outstanding groups and individuals.

Within the framework of the program, outstanding delegates presented papers on "Youth of the Port City - Small actions, big ideals, following the example of great Uncle Ho". Here, delegates presented their views, analyzed the practical process of striving, training and contributing to the community; at the same time, proposed many practical solutions and initiatives to strongly inspire the city's youth.

The program is an opportunity for the city's outstanding youth to exchange, learn, and share experiences in the process of striving and training; at the same time, raise awareness, sense of responsibility, foster revolutionary ideals, form a beautiful lifestyle, and volunteer for the community. The advanced youth delegates following Uncle Ho's teachings attending the Festival will be shining examples, representing the image and values of Vietnamese youth in the new era, worthy of being fresh flowers in the colorful flower garden of the Hai Phong City Youth Union respectfully offering to Uncle Ho./.
