Gasoline and oil prices increased on the afternoon of May 15

Specifically, the price of RON 95-III gasoline (a popular type on the market) increased by 420 VND, to 19,590 VND/liter. E5 RON 92 increased by 410 VND, to 19,180 VND. Similarly, oil products also increased by 280-630 VND per liter. Compared to 7 days ago, diesel increased by 420 VND, to 17,220 VND per liter. Kerosene and fuel oil have new prices of 17,220 VND and 16,160 VND, respectively.

In today's management session, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance still did not use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund.

This year, the Ministry of Industry and Trade allocated a minimum of 29.5 million m3 of petroleum to key enterprises. This level is equivalent to 2.5 million m3 of petroleum per month.

In a report for questioning sent to the National Assembly, the Ministry of Industry and Trade said that the supply of gasoline and oil is currently guaranteed. In the first quarter of the year, the country consumed about 6 million tons of gasoline and oil of all kinds. Meanwhile, the total source of gasoline and oil according to traders' reports is estimated at about 6.4 million tons. The Ministry said it will continue to closely monitor developments in the domestic and world gasoline and oil markets to find solutions to ensure market supply.
