Gold price today May 16: Gold ring price and SJC gold price decreased sharply

At the close of trading on May 15, Saigon Jewelry Company listed the buying price of gold at VND115.5 million/tael; the selling price was VND118.2 million/tael, down VND1.9 million/tael for buying and down VND1.2 million/tael for selling compared to the beginning of the trading session on the same day. The difference between the buying and selling price of SJC gold is currently VND2.7 million/tael.

At the same time, DOJI Group listed the buying and selling price of gold at 115.5 - 118.2 million VND/tael, down 1.9 million VND/tael for buying and down 1.2 million VND/tael for selling compared to the opening of the trading session on May 15. The difference between DOJI gold buying and selling prices is 2 million VND/tael.

On the afternoon of May 15, SJC listed the price of gold rings at 110.5 - 113.5 million VND/tael, down 1.5 million VND/tael in both buying and selling prices compared to early morning of the same day.

At the same time, DOJI listed the price of gold rings at 105.5 - 113.5 million VND/tael (buy - sell), down 2 million VND/tael for buying and down 1.5 million VND/tael for selling compared to early morning of May 15.

At the end of the afternoon of May 15 (Vietnam time), the world gold price traded on Kitco floor was at 3,175.1 USD/oz, down 1.8 USD/oz compared to early morning of the same day.

Converting world gold price according to foreign exchange rate at Vietcombank on May 15: 1 USD = 26,110 VND, world gold price is equivalent to 99.88 million VND/tael, 18.32 million VND/tael lower than SJC gold selling price at the same time.
