Quy Nhon City is about 284km² wide, is a type 1 urban area under Binh Dinh province (recognized in 2010), with a population of about 500,000 people (as of 2023).

Located in the Central Coast, Quy Nhon has a strategic position connecting the North and the South, is an economic - political - cultural center, strongly developing with industries, tourism and commercial services.

Quy Nhon stands out with its wind turbine fields. Among them is Phuong Mai Wind Power Plant, which covers an area of 122 hectares with a total investment of 40 million USD. The project has been in operation since early 2020 and was once one of the largest wind power plants in the country.

Quy Nhon is also a core urban area in the key economic region of the Central region. There are many new urban areas, modern residential areas, public works, parks, and beaches that are well planned and invested.

In the photo is Thi Nai port (existing before the 15th century), which used to be an important commercial port center of the Central region. Since 2000, the port has been renovated and exploited in a modern direction to serve the import and export of goods, especially for Nhon Hoi Economic Zone and the Central Highlands. The port can accommodate ships with a capacity of 5,000 - 30,000 DWT.

Quy Nhon urban area has a combination of modern architecture and local identity. New urban areas, public works such as the Central Square, Nguyen Sinh Sac and Nguyen Tat Thanh Monuments, Thi Nai Bridge... are invested synchronously, meeting aesthetic requirements. Green spaces, parks and seas are preserved and developed in parallel with the urbanization process.

In the photo is Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, one of the traffic works invested in and built to be spacious and modern.

Binh Dinh Provincial Convention Center is designed in the shape of a bird's wing or ocean wave, with soft, curving lines, blending martial arts culture and the ocean. The building is mainly made of steel, glass, and natural stone, creating a modern and elegant feel. This is also the place where important political and social events of the province take place.

Next to the Provincial Convention Center is Nguyen Tat Thanh Square, which is tens of thousands of square meters wide. The project is located between four streets: Nguyen Tat Thanh, Le Duan, Truong Chinh and Ho Thi Ky, with a large ceremonial yard, open space, clean stone paving, suitable for organizing outdoor events.

Around Nguyen Tat Thanh Square, there is also a statue of Nguyen Sinh Sac and Nguyen Tat Thanh. The statue is cast in bronze, placed on a granite pedestal, about 15m high with the image of Nguyen Sinh Sac holding a book, symbolizing intelligence, education and morality; young Nguyen Tat Thanh stands next to him, with a calm demeanor, looking into the distance, expressing the desire to find a way to save the country.

Most of the province's key agencies such as the Provincial People's Committee, Provincial People's Council, important departments, branches and sectors are concentrated in the city center, many of which are located near the sea.

The Departments of Finance, Construction, Culture - Sports and Tourism... are located near the city center, within a radius of about 1-2km from the coast.

Located near the Nguyen Hue - Le Loi - Tran Cao Van roundabout are many government agency headquarters. In the picture, the building on the left is the People's Court of Binh Dinh province, on the right is the headquarters of the Quy Nhon City Party Committee.

Next to the famous Grand Hyams Hotel is the Quy Nhon City Administrative Center building, with a scale of 13 floors, built on a land area of 702m2, total floor area of 8,082m2. The building's architecture is modern, with functions suitable for office work.

From above, you can also see Quy Nhon Stadium (at 157 Le Hong Phong, Le Loi ward), with a capacity of about 20,000 spectators.

The stadium was built in the 1970s and is one of the oldest stadiums in the Central region.

Right near the beginning of the yard is Long Khanh Pagoda - an important Buddhist center in Quy Nhon. This is where many Buddhist practices and worship activities take place.

One highlight of Quy Nhon city that cannot be ignored is Thi Nai bridge (Nhon Hoi sea-crossing bridge).

Since its inauguration, the bridge has attracted tourists because it is located in the middle of poetic mountains and seas. The bridge is part of the Nhon Hoi road and bridge system, nearly 7km long, connecting Quy Nhon City with Phuong Mai Peninsula (Nhon Hoi Economic Zone).

The entire Thi Nai bridge project started construction in 2002 and was completed in 2006.

The bridge has an impressive, modern architecture and was once the longest sea-crossing bridge in Vietnam before the Tan Vu - Lach Huyen Bridge (Hai Phong) was built. This is a meaningful project, not only creating convenience in traffic and economy, but also the pride of Quy Nhon people.

Right near Thi Nai bridge there are many new urban areas with luxury villas.

In the process of strong development, Quy Nhon aims to become a modern, smart and livable coastal city of the South Central region; a center of economy, tourism, high-quality services, logistics and technology; focusing on planning new urban areas...
