Focus on removing difficulties in land valuation

At the meeting, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee stated that the province currently has 9 consulting units determining land prices for 31 projects. In the past, the determination of land prices for projects was slow, the long processing time increased costs, causing consequences to the progress of project implementation as well as budget collection.

Mr. Nguyen Van Tho, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, spoke at a meeting with consulting units to resolve difficulties and problems in land valuation.

Presenting the difficulties in the land valuation process, the consulting units said that the current land valuation work in the province still has many problems such as: The fee for valuation services is too low and not suitable to reality; local land data information is limited and not updated promptly; accessing and collecting land and planning information as input data and basis for calculation according to Government regulations still has many difficulties....

Concluding the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Tho requested the Department of Agriculture and Environment to synthesize and evaluate bottlenecks in land valuation to advise the province to work with the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment to remove difficulties in implementing Decree 71/2024/ND-CP. At the same time, review and resubmit the land valuation service fee for appropriate adjustments according to the feedback of the consulting unit; closely coordinate with the unit to have timely information on planning adjustments, land location... related to valuation.
